I had every intention of finishing this turd in 8 months, 3 years later, well you know the rest, i dont think the mot tester will be in the picture anytime soon.............................. :(

back in the day many did M30 conversions when complete 535i's were 20p each, then plastic 24v donks became cheap so everyone jumped on that boat..

sooner or later they will realize the error in their ways and go back to proper old skool torque :D

Indeed the M30 produces more torque at lower revs, and I think they suit the vintage of the e30 too.!

The tech in the 24v engines is great but they seem to flatten out after about 70mph..
