Hi, i've got one of these BBR Starchips in my ECU, i've not driven the car yet, just wondered if anyone else has one and what they think?

500 quid?!
Wow, I'd send it back mate. Speedtouch on here does the same chips 22+ BHP chips for 35 quid I think. I have one in my m30b35, they are good.

Speedtouch chips are a rep of the BBR chip (same thing)

Similar, yes, not quite the same. There are subtle differences in the program.
Whether they actually manage to sell any at £500 is another thing, of course...

I've got one of your chips in mine Maurice, and was very pleased with how it has changed my car, more of a shove in the back mid-range, and seems smoother when driving slowly around town. Actually, I think i might have bought it off of you Lee, can't remember it was a while ago!?

Good to hear that, fella.
I had one in a 1988 E34 535iSE and it certainly went well.
