Hi.

I have an aged 1972 E3 BMW 2500 - early M30 engine on twin solex carbs - It is now sporting a 3.0 M30 on triple Webers :D

This car has had a full nut and bolt restoration, which i finished in June.

Just bought an E30 325i Convert, 87/D, with an astounding 293,000 miles on the clock!

Anyway, you M30 convertion boys may be able to help me..... I know you bin the viscous fan off the front of the M30 engine, well I need one from a later engine to fit to my M30 - I have an early centrifugal fan, which doesn't work very well, so I want to put a viscous on. I do run an electric fan too.

Hope you fellas can help?

Cheers,

Martin.

Wow, what a lovely car! :D

With regards to the viscous fan, I'm pretty sure mine went in the bin when I did my conversion, but I'll have a look in the shed to check

Thanks for that - 2 years hard work!

I read your build thread, nice conversion!

Let me know if you find the fan.

Cheers,

Martin.
