Diff compatibility

Hi there,
Does anyone know if an e36 (2003) M3 3.46 ratio LSD (188 casing) would fit my e30? I have an M30 3.5 engine fitted.

Wont be a direct swap, iirc the internals can be swapped into a large case E30 diff though but its not for the faint hearted, give Gareth a pm as he knows how to pull diffs apart
Is it E36 or E46?

Thanks mate, any advice useful on this. Deffo e36 but the chap is definite it is a 188 casing. Will PM Gareth, thanks again. Will probably catch up with you at some point as am blown away and inspired by the stuff you have done on your car!
