E30 Zone

looking to do the swap but im looking for any useful information on every little detail on the whole process.

for instance:
1:the rad position where would it be?
2:would it be a straight swap? just switch out the engine?
3:would the manual transmission be compatible? 325i cab compatible?
4:going to come back for questions lol etc,.

Whats the E30 your starting with? 318-325i?

87 325i cabby with over 200k

Perfect car to start with then, imo an M30 is just like a big M20 and it makes the swap a whole load easier.
You can use the 325i prop/linkages/rubber mounts/rad/exhaust/etc... the only custom thing you will need is the mounts *cough* see my sig

1, rad will stay where it is
2, Virtually yes
3, you will need an M30 gearbox or there has been a thread about using an M10 box from a 316
