Does anyone know the difference between these and E34 engines, its mainly where the mounts bolt up that i need to know. :)
Iirc the inlet side mount is the same as E34 (could be wrong)

TIA

Now, inlet side looks the same as E34?

And if you look at the exhaust side the mount is in the holes in the middle but it looks like there's holes further forward where my mounts fit.

Here's E34

My mounts bolt in the middle of the block on the inlet side (when in an E34 the mount is further forward and sits under the oil filter)

Couple o pics

Standard E28 mounting holes, best pic i could find :( although seems to be quite a few mounting holes to choose from.

Im guessing if the holes are there in the E28 block my E30 mounts will fit?

Im sure these older donks have more power too. 220hp i think.

My head hurts
