remote mount oil filter

evening folks.
a bit of a back story, i've been tasked by a mate to help strip down & rebuild his 2.8 m20 stroker to a turbo.
he's already got a lot of the parts incl low comp pistons, custom manifold for the turbo (he did mention twin scroll), the turbo itself (not a clue on the spec), MS to run it all incl coil packs, intercooler the lot,
now the bit i'm stuck on is the oil filter, as from what i've seen on line with a lot of m20 turbo's is lack of room under the manifold/turbo near the oil filter & i've read online about an oil filter relocation kit.
i mentioned it to my mate who went out & bought one (take off plate, remote filter head, sandwich plate to feed the oil cooler & use as a take off for the turbo oil feed line, AN fittings & braided hose),
now my idea is to mount the filter on the inner wing where the ignition coil would have been (it's going to be using coil packs remember?) would that be a good place to mount it?
the only other places i can think of are A) on the underside of the front chassis rail using rivnuts or time serts, but i'm not keen on that one due to the fact if the rivnuts/time serts lost grip then bye bye oil filter as it lands on the road.
B) on the battery tray, again not over keen due to how high up it would be, wether that would cause any issues i don't know.
personally i think my idea of the inner wing would be the best bet.
i've searched all over the net about this but keep drawing blanks.
has anyone else done this? if so how did you get on with it?
