325 engine on 320 gearbox ?

hey guys been offered a 325 m20 engine and been told will fit onto my gearbox with same clutch and flywheel is this true and could anyone tell me the pros/cons off this swap is it a good idea ? thanks

Gearbox will fit and yes its a good idea there pretty much the same engine but an extra 500cc and about 50hp.

the 320i gear box ratios are pretty close to the 325i sport box so better acceleration

YES, it bolts straight on. the ratios are in the wiki.
