Kent do a good one. About £155. Larkspeed Leeds, can get hold of them.
I can get hold of them direct from Kent a little bit cheaper if a few people want them.
Ebay is flooded with rubbish ones at the moment, cheap but I wouldn't trust them.

Dan said he'd looked on eBay and they all looked crap. A quick Google didn't bring much up either.
Is there any others to chose from?

Can't find anything on their website for one. I've e-mailed CatCams to see whether they have anything. Can't think of anyone else so might have to be the Kent one, Larkspeed seem to be the only ones selling them.

I have been told to beware of some of the ones available online, they are made with the tooth pitch slightly off/the pulley is slightly too big.
It was certainly the cheepo blue ebay ones but i'm not sure which others fall into that trap as well.
If buying one then either go for a known good one or make sure it is returnable.

Well I'm certainly staying away from the eBay specials.
It's either going to be the Kent or Catcams, the Catcams is about £20 cheaper. Discounted the Nuke since it'd need importing, making any issues that may arise a pain to sort out.
Anyone got any experience of the Catcams or the Kent pulley?

Wouldn't be worth it Rob, I'll need one regardless so best to get one now so it's all set in the correct position from the off.

I made one for my 2.8L M20 last year. If you know a shop that can laser cut you some 3/16" plate you can make your own fairly cheaply using the stock pulley.
The idea behind the spacing on the holes on either side of the spoke was for setting the timing by simply sticking a dowel pin in the hole and rotating until it contacts the spoke. As you can see on the top spoke the holes are touching, that's for setting back to stock timing, then each consecutive spoke the holes are spaced 1 degree further apart. So I have +/- 5 degrees of adjustment on the cam pulley and since it's 2:1 ratio to the pulley on the crank it's really +/- 10 degrees (in 2 degree increments).
I can email the CAD file to anyone who's interested.

Saw that when you posted it on another forum, thought it looked like a good job then and now its on the engine is looks even better.
Go with that kedge, at least you know your getting a well made pulley.

Well you can't really see it since I'm running the stock dizzy still
Once I finish my ITB project the next project will likely be converting my MS to wasted spark so that I can get rid of the stock dizzy and show off my timing pulley

Awesome, that looks like a good quality pulley!
Dan, checked my e-mails and I've had no dispatch notice (feckers have had my money a week now) for the vernier so sent them a mail telling them to cancel the order, will call them in the morning to make sure.
