E30 Zone

I see many cheap manifolds on eBay are any any good? I have a tech 1 sport are the manifolds the same tech1/ tech2? I want a good fitment.

Are you talking about Stainless versions or just the standard E30 Log manifold? If its the log manifold, any prefacelift 325i Manifold will fit as they are all the same.

Sorry I meant a stainless replacement. It has the log type manifold now, the manifolds you see on ebay tend to have downpipes too. These downpipes I take it join the cat pipe on face lifted bm's. as mine has no cat I was wondering if there the same fitment?

Early cast manifold is rubbish

the later post 88 with larger downpipe flange will all bolt up with matching downpipes for better flow than what you had originally

Cheap too , 6 Branch is bling- and about 1 HP if you're lucky without any further mods to suit,,,,,

Usually you need to mod the cheap manifolds to get them to fit.

You get what you pay for.................

Iv also been looking at these 'cheap' manifolds.
im in need of a 6 branch for my E28 that im putting a m20b25 into. Might be worth a punt.
