Right I'm looking at modding a 325i engine

I have seen a thread on schrick 284/272dg cams which I think I will save for as I heard these cams wear out

Looking a stainless steel mani and I'm making a back box for it as an experiment basically anyone got any not to expensive systems

Got performance ht leads coming and will get new plugs as well maybe new rotor and dizzy cap

Panel element not sure which make and id like some new intake hoses

So is there anything else really apart from turbo charging which I don't want to go down . Not after amazing power just a bit more would be nice

What about chipping ?

How much did it cost? I had a golf mk4 turbo around 200bhp with out a remap and it was awesome but I just got bored of warming up and cooling down

Mine hasn't cost me too much. I've got hi comp 325 , cam don't know what it is looks like it might be Burton standing? Bbtb hottuning 6 branch manni . Stainless exhaust think its longlife life one. M30 injectors and afm . I got the chip from dmcl on the zone to run it all properly. Mine made 192 I've done head gasket and polished the pistons zone valves to etc and seems quicker? Need another dyno run

Just give it a right good service and set the valve clearances and proparly cleaned injectors (check out Injectortune in the traders section). Be careful with the Schrick 284/272, there might be clearance issues, this is why I chose to go with a 272 for my 2.8 build.

A 6 branch exhaust will offer a good improvement, Hottuning is a cheap copy but does still offer some gains. A big bore throttle body is also known to give gains but I don't think anyone is making them at the moment but a local machine shop should be able to do one then a chip from a Zoner called speedtouch should all give a nice increase.

End of the day it's all about hoe much you are prepared to spend.

Send them back, total waste of money, nothing beats the original BMW leads and they only ever need replacing if physically damaged!
