Recently put 325 high comp engine into my e30 only had airflow meter and idle control valve from the standard 325. Are they any different? Getting very poor mileage from it at the moment. Any advise would be great. Cheers

A 'sport' engine is exactly the same as any other E30 325 engine, and hence the airflow meters are the same.
There is a high and low compression version of the engines, based on build date, but the AFMs are the same.

Ok thanks, what mpg should I be roughly getting from the engine?

Driven enthusiastically, but sensibly, I'd be looking for around 27 MPG.

There are several things that could be attributing to low MPG. Easy thing to check is the blue temp sensor. I'm sure Brian can name off a few more (not sure if TPS would inhibit MPG or not...)

Have a read, and then try the test that it describes.
