Bmw e30 ecu help needed please 325 m20 173 ecu part no.

Hi people just looking for a little help please I have an e30 325 it has had a different ecu put in it by previous owner being a bosch 0 261 200 173 and it has a removable EPROM chip in it which is called 'wild map' I have a pic I'll try and add but I'm looking for help on any info people might know about this . And if people would have anything on the wild chip binary? In an xsf file ? Hope that makes sence ;-)

Best person to help there is Speedtouch, as he supplies modded chips on here.

are Speedtouch's chips any good because iv'e heard mixed things about chips and why is his soo cheap?

If you care to read my Feedback, you'll see that plenty of buyers are happy with the ones I supply.

The 173 is the most commonly fitted (and best) ECU to facelift 325i models; later ones had the 381 which had extra diodes for the idle control circuit that are prone to blowing.

You can get chips in Mild or Wild flavour.

The chips contain a program which is in the form of assembly code (hex) which can be converted into either binary or XDF file for TunerPro.
