E30 Zone

Hi, need some advice, as i have a 320i m20, when i start the engine it revs up to 2 then jumps and goes down, and after a while once engine is running the rev goes down and engines cutts off. It wont start till i jump start.

I recently changed new battery and Alternator.

Could it possibly be ICV?

I would aAppreciate for some help

sounds like it could be a bad icv.
