no - 325i pistons are shaped - 320i are flat!

which is what i was referring to there, you need to remove material from the head in order to prevent the pistons clashing at the squish band.

the head in my thread has been modified to suit.

although.... its just not worth it, all you will get is a slower car.

Depends on what pistons you use...

I am using a 325 block with a 731 head,but eta pistons,rods and crank.... winkeye

very true, in general a 731/320 head MUST have FLAT pistons and an 885/325 head MUST have BOWLED pistons.

otherwise you are buggering up the design of the combustion chamber.

have you seen the latest on the m20 thread? there may be help for you eta piston knuckle draggers yet. :P

I'm watching!

Now if we can combine M50 sequential fueling and COP,can we get an engine that 'looks' stock, but is more efficient?

thats the plan.

cause with the way fuel prices are going.......

(ohh and lpg, as the m50 management will run lpg a LOT better than the m3.1)
