Hi putting a 2.5 engine in my car. when the engine is out was thinking about putting new rings in and having a look at the bottom end in general. the top end was rebuilt about a year ago what do people think worth it or not. if so where is the best place to get the rings from. the engine is good but does have 200.000 on the clock with history to prove.

I would do a compression or leakdown test before taking it apart; that will confirm what, if anything, needs refreshing. Unless you just want to do it for the fun of it.
