E30 Zone

alright guys, done a oilchange on the bimmer yesterday all was fine for a little while then over 4k i got a annoying tapping (sounds like 1 of the tappets have adjustted its self) is this possible?

m20s dont have tappets the rocker arms go direct from the cam to the top of the valve
can really see one of them coming undone like that tho
id take ya cover off and just check that each rocker is intact and the the little oval adjuster on the end aint lose on each one

One of the spring clips that hold the rockers in there correct position on the rocker arm could have come off. That makes an annoying sound.
