E30 Zone

Hi lads,

I am building a 2.8 m20 using a late m20b25 and a m52 crank (I believe that's the one that won't need any work to be done to the pistons.)

After seeing nummerous vids of e30 turbo's it's really starting to itch...

figuring out the hardware and installing will not b the problem but all the theoretic stuff that's involved isn't my strongest part.

Maybe some people on here can help me out a bit what parts to use and what adjustments to make to the engine.

The aim is somewhere between 300 to 350 horses at the cranck.

I have been on here for over 5 years and have read alot about turboing m20's but it's just that when it really comes to building one specific engine my knowledge isn't all that.

I hope to get some usefull reactions.

I'ts a project for the long run as the car is at the bodyshop atm and all the money is giong there.

The engine is already in the garage as is the cranck and conrods.

Regarding the turbo, im doing a M20B28 turbo myself, i got a MS1 for engine management. 42lb injectors. boost controller and wasted spark from the MS1.

Cant advise you on any specific turbine, since i will be doing a twin turbo setup.

Thanks mate, that's where I got the 2.8 info from.

I have most of the parts for the engine I only need a cam but that is one of the last things.
I think I best can compare it to a 2.7 turbo build.
