just asking really. i noticed a thread in the photos section with a turbo'd 2.5 running approx 250bhp on standard management.
wanted to ask a few questions: can this be reliably done, have/would you do it? and lastly what would be needed? 250bhp would be plenty not after a monster engine as im not exactly loaded at the mo!
cheers all!
ps lease talk in simleten terms. i know a bit but it dont take much to confuse me

dont forget larger fuel injectors and unless u want to fork out for standalone management u will also need a chip thats been mapped for a boosted M20. ive a 7-8psi tune here for an M20 with 24lb/hr injectors FWIW.

D1MMY may be persuaded to part with his engine/clutch/ECU and full exhaust, low CR forged engine done approx 5K since build. 282 BHP, 303 Lbs/ft iirc.
all lives in a Granite silver J plate sport that really needs to go back to stock as she's a rare colour for sure.

Sadly the two crucial links at the top of that thread (relating to turboing theM20) now don't work.
Any chance the sites / pages still exist under different guises?
