Does any know how to go about change my car from a 1.6 to a 2.5, with the DVLA

Daimlerman will tell you all about it, he's recently been through the grief.
IIRC, you need to supply an kosher invoice from the garage who fitted the engine, clearly stating the details of the new engine - number, exact cc, etc etc.
