Hello,
I've recently acquired a great condition bottom end and a 731 head (still part of a running 323i) which are both being rebuilt to factory specs by myself. I've done some reading and i've pretty much got the consensus that everyone updates to motronic.

Engine will be 10.2:1 compression judging by the M20 page on the forum.

I have the complete L-jetronic setup from the 323i which was running quite well, so i'll try use this to get the engine running to avoid any other issues as i'm pretty familiar with it, and I know it has some very very basic adjustment with the AFM flap, mixture and injector size.

Although long term I'd probably find a complete b25 setup, or MS as it seems to be the way to go.

Has anyone used the stock L-jet system dizzy included to run a 2.7i? What gains are to be expected over a stock 323i?

I'd love to hear from people who have actually used/tuned L-jet as opposed to the recommended Motronic swap if possible, but all info is welcome.

No idea on how it should run with L-jet?
I'm sure it will flatten out at around 5000rpm, but anything else?
