I can provide one for £35 posted. You can choose either Mild or Wild:

EcoTorq M20B25 Mild; 7-11bhp gain, significantly enhances the torque for driveability/improved fuel economy (expect at least an extra 2-3mpg average) and eliminates flat spots, also a 6900rpm rev limit. An ideal blend for daily motoring, also works well with automatics.

M20B25 Wild; 8-15bhp gain, up to 192bhp if combined with 268/268 cam, BBTB and six-branch as per Alpina C2 2.5 spec, 7000rpm rev limit. Best suited for fast road/track day use.

i would reccomend one of them wild chips as i fitted one in mine a few weeks back. car is standard apart from a induction kit.
makes a big difference higher up the revs and is much more responsive.
seems to have made it better on fuel aswell if you drive normal.

there is a literal world of difference in the chips that are out there on the market. ebay chips are usually either copies of something else or home brew tunes that may be good or may be bad. there also seems to be an upper tier of chips/tunes also which are few and far between the normal bad, average and good chips out there. some of the best i have come across make other chips that people hail as being great and giving good gains feel nearly standard in comparison but like i said these are few and far between. the only brands i have seen in this sort of upper rung is Dinan and Autothority, both of which are incredibly expensive. also the Dinan chip is only tuned at full throttle so driving normally its the same as a standard chip, Autothority is similar at full throttle but also has very good part throttle maps.

forgetting about part throttle and just speaking in terms of power gained at full pelt the Dinan and Autothority chips trash Mark D, Jim Conforti/Turner Motorsport, Active Autowerke, Alpina C2/B3 and a host of lesser names/brands. have not seen anything more agressively tuned than those 2 bar some of my own creations which is, incidentally, why i shelled out on 9 zillion chips from here there and everywhere in the first place

@ speedtouch, i probably have some stuff u may be interested in. if ur curious drop me a PM. been quite a while since i was chatting with u previously.

hi speed touch I'm interested in your chips. my e30 is a tech 1 sport which as far as I know runs on motronic 1? would they still work ok on it? I have receipts for a chip but no higher rev limit there, but she smells rich, are there any identifiable marks on the chip which would help me to know if it's stock/cheap eBay tat? thanks Phil

i would take what DmcL says with a grain of salt. he thinks the most timing advance must make it better.....has probably never done any dyno testing. having ability to make your own chip doesn't mean you know what you are talking about

there was a chip dyno'ed by evolve a few years back and proven to make hgood gains try one of those or speak to Ant

DmcL and Fastphil666, PMs sent.

reggid, I wouldn't knock DmcL, as I have heard of good customer feedback for him and have been a satisfied customer of his myself. I think he is quite a capable tuner.

Thanks,
