Anyone go today?
Was an awesome day although fooking cold.
Saw good few E30`s around the car park inc a nice Black Mtec1 on Black BBS`s,caged up etc.Zoners car?
E30 race(Toyo tires cup I think?) was excellect.Few spin offs but no major dissasters I dont think.
Not sure how many E30`s there was on the track but around 20-25 I think?
Nicest car of the day for me was a Talbot Sunbeam(Lotus?).Simply a stunning car and fooking quick to say the least.I even prefered that to the Silver MK1 mex which again was lovely.
Nice battle between Escort Cossie and Lotus Elise.Cossie man did well to hold the Elise back for a good few laps but obviously pressure got to him and the little Elise kicked his ass
Took loads of pics but most are blurred cause it was so b4stard cold my hands wouldnt operate properly :PIll post up the viewable ones tomorrow.OBs took some too so hopefully between the 2 of us theyll be worth looking at?
Speaking of OBs.I owe him big time for getting the VIP tickets through his work.Free scran and liquid for the day, paddock pass etc
Nice one Andy, ill fix your central locking in return
Overall a fantastic day out and cant wait till June for my next VIP tickets
Pics to follow..................

Hello Eko, I was there bloody freeeeezing!! Great days racing tho. That was my Tech 1 in the car park, glad you liked it. That Lotus Sunbeam was awesome but drive of the day was my mate in his first ever race managing third in class in his massive 106! Brilliant!
Did you see those E21's in the car park, rough as dogs but stripped and sorted just the way I like it!

Scott so that was your Mtec1,looked spot on where it was parked, hard to miss it really
Yes we were talking about that 106 during the day, went pretty well didnt it.Fair play to your mate managing 3rd in class
Did you spot the Black Mtec2 touring near the toilets with no plates?
Looked like a project racer as it had a half fitted V8 under the bonnet
Didnt see the E21`s though?

FF1600 Kicked off the day, it was pretty impressive with matey who started on pole leading all the way... We stood at Camp corner for these
Followed by the Group 1 classic touring cars
The two Jags were really quick and sounded really nice
I liked this Capri, neatly painted in Hammerite livery
This little battle was amusing, the 5 eventually won (Jesus put it away) A35 sounded / looked cool !!
The CSL vs Mexico was amusing, the Mex really held its ground for a few laps but just couldnt make the pass again.
This yellow Opel Ascona was really well prepared and went well (shame I didnt get a better picture, I really liked it)
Time for the E30's (Easy track production BMW cup) we moved to Quarry corner to watch this race, the heavens had sprinkled a little 'anti traction juice' by now
This was my personal favourite, although it had the wrong bumpers it looked really nice sat on the Gold centered polished lipped BBSs...
On track...
Chromie

There were two white beauties there, both went well.
Getting slippery now
The only Touring racing, it looked 'fat'
There were a few airy moments coming into and exiting Quarry, a few more spin offs and one collision but all good competitive racing

Shit I didn't realise you guys were there! I would have come and said hello. Its been a long time eko.
I rocked up in a mondeo Tdci. So wrong in hearing aid beige. But then it only cost a fiver or so to get there!
Free tickets curtisy of Jimmy as well. 2 tickets got 4 of us in with no questions asked, so that was a bonus.
I spent all day at quarry sat on my deckchair, except when I went to inspect the lotus sunbeam at the midday interval. Very very nice, 300bhp as well.
The supercharged lotus exige was a weapon, as was the escort cossie. The cosworth was a tad faster in a straight line, but was getting whipped on the bends. It eventually let the yellow turd through after a very sideways moment at quarry.
I have a few pictures that I may upload a bit later.

I was going to go, but it was my Birthday and the weather looked like it was going to be very wet so I stayed away. My Sport Evo was in the showroom at my work (Circuit Motors) though, but as it's tucked away it isn't easy to see it
The Eurofest is later on this year and they are celibrating the anniversary of the E30 too with parade laps I think. That will be a good day and we shoule all get together that day, although I maybe arranging a Rolling Road day too

Eurofest Action Day:
"Eurofest highlights the best of European performance car manufacturers. It is the only track event that celebrates the Continent that invented the motorcar.
The display area is divided into country of origin i.e., German, French, Italian and British manufacturers, to make it more user-friendly for Owners Clubs and visitors alike.
Entering its third year in 2008, it is our fastest growing Action Day. Numerically, French clubs have been the most prolific, but this year we expect much larger contingent of Italian clubs and owners.
Sessions on the circuit are open to all clubs but with some sessions for country of origin.
New for 2008 will be 'New-to-Track' sessions, with the lunchtime giant Euro Cruise open to all Owner Club cars.
This year we will be celebrating the BMW 3 Series as our Theme of the Day with owners of this model particularly welcome and enjoying their own parade session."
Taken straight from the program and to book track time (and I would do it as soon as possible) is 01249 782417.
Looks like it will be a good day.
