I now have two firm dates for our Croft events this year and as usual all Zoners are welcome.

Monday, 14th July 2008
Thursday, 9th October 2008

As usual the circuit hire has increased by around 5%.. but the good news is that I can absorb this increase without increasing the cost to yourselves.. I shall just expect you to buy more raffle tickets!

So for a mere £150 for each event you can take part in what is undoubtably one of the best trackdays on offer anywhere!

Those of you that have have been many times before will be familiar with our Croft events but for those that haven't here are some of the reasons why people keep coming back.
£150 per car and driver
Open pit lane all day
Free instruction
Free use of pit lane garages and facilities
Free overnight camping with wc and hot showers
Good value pub grub at lunchtime
Friendly club atmosphere
All standards catered for, novices to pro's
Friendly, aproachable circuit staff and event organisers
Fantastic, well kept circuit
Very easy to get to
Trophies and raffle prizes

I expect all the places to get sold out again this year so please dont delay get your entry form now!

Nick

There is no definate timescale.. I have 50 places at each and sell them on a first come first served basis.. sometimes I am sold out well before the event.
I dont save places or take deposits.. the only way you can secure a slot is to pay for it.. if money is tight we take all major cards!

Hope you can come
Nick

Hi NIck,

might be a silly question but what are the rules regarding cars that aren't on the road, are they allowed??

ie, no tax/mot/insurance.

cheers

Andy.

Most racing cars, or trailered trackday cars dont have any tax, mot or insurance.. so it's no problem really, so long as it is fit enough to pass scrutineering.

Of course you can, bring some friends.. there is no charge, it's free to get in and watch.
You must come to the desk when you arrive though and give your name for insurance purposes.
Bring a few quid for my raffle.. and if you can borrow a helmet we can try and get you out with somone.. once you have paid £20 you can blag as many passenger laps as you want.

Actually, your C2 would love it!.. when was the last time you properly warmed it up and got the diff oil working..
If you can drive on the public highway without hitting anything, you'll be fine on the circuit!

The answer lies in the soil. And when the Moon is out - don't stray from the path.

Bookings are coming in now.. I have 5 cheques here on my desk which is very re-assuring.

I may have to re-schedule the October event and bring it forward a month.. September 2nd looks like it may the date.. nothing set in stone yet.. I just thought I would run it by you and get some feedback.
