FRITZ BITS rolling road meet / weekend Weekend 3rd NOV

hi all. after the success of the last one and the joy of rebuilding my car i'm going to do hold another meet with more notice if anyone is interested?
Only this one i'll do rolling road runs on the saturday and a cruise up and around north devon on the sunday as time and daylight is an issue with only one day. i've spoken to a few people about it and i have a couple of customers interested in coming with some nice stuff i look after. ideally it would be nice to run all e30's but a few e28's, e21's , e36's may turn up.
i can arrange local accomadation for the saturday night if needed. or have a field at the back of work for camping and a bonfire if you're brave enough! (local cider farm up the road)
i'm thinking it should be a good weekend as it's always good to meet similar people. i'll try and get rich to do some discounts on parts, exhausts, strut braces etc but will try and get some numbers up first before i confirm anything like that.
10 am start , £25 a run and you'll get a graph and i'll check/ adjust fuelling for you.
i'll speak to total bmw again and i'll see if they are interested if we can get enough cars. the more the merrier
shall we do the usual list?

Jackie, it's near Taunton... You'd do best going up the A303 to pick up the M5. It's about 4-5 miles off J27 from memory.

I can't do Saturday but I'll defo be up for meeting you all at the drag racing at Smeatharpe on the Sunday. I went last Sunday, it was an awesome day and I've got pics just have to get around to putting them up and I think Munkey was there too.
I might be feeling a little rough though as I'm going to an 18th on the Saturday

result, have organised things so i 'happen' to be driving up the M5 that morning,
Dave any chance you can Post up the address of Fritzs and what kind of time to be there?
Also does it matter that my boot will be full of clothes etc, im moving house that weekend, but obviously the health of the e30 has priority

We're located between Wellington and Cullumpton, just off the A38 main road. That's in between junctions 26 and 27 of the M5 motorway in Somerset.
If you're coming off at Junction 27, follow signs for Wellington and travel along the A38 for approx five miles, look out for a short section of dual carraigeway and turn left (signposted Greenham) just before it turns back into single carraigeway. Just less than a mile down on the left and you'll see our buildings.
From Junction 26, follow the signs for Willand and head out on the A38 for approx five miles, just after the second roundabout you come to there will be a short stretch of dual carraigeway, you'll then travel up and hill and onto another section of dual carraigeway. Slow down at the top of this hill and you'll see the turning for Greenham on your right, cross the dual carraigeway, head on down the hill and look out for our premises.
There's always somebody around between nine and six Monday to Friday, and up until about two on a Saturday. Like most people who work for themselves doing something they enjoy, most days we're here outside of those hours too, but we probably won't answer the phone because we're busy tinkering...

hey all. i was going to bump this but it's already been stickyed. nice
just a reminder that it is this weekend and is only £25. as already discussed the cruise on the sunday has been abandoned and we are going drag racing at smetharpe instead. check power on the saturday, use it on the sunday
i'll add another few confirmed people to the list to give some ideas of numbers.
i've just finished a 3.2 s50 cab and have the owners permission to run this for your amusement.
power is irrelevent the noise is impressive.
i believe ant is bringing down a 2.7 with a gert snail hopefully with a couple of others so smiles all round i reckon.
no worries about you bringing an e36 tony. there will be a couple more
we ideally need 12 cars for total to be interested.
heres a couple of sites to help you on your way.
www.southwestrollingroad.com
www.streetnights.com
it should be a good day
