southern meet 7th october 07, 12 noon burger van

nice to see those at the last meet in the new forrest

we were leaving this one till october because of santa pod at the end of september. if any one has any preference on dates, i thought either 7th or 14th oct which are both sundays, as some can't do saturdays.

we are yet to sort out a drive as we are checking out areas and places for photos, but thought to start at mick's burger van as most people can find it, if not follow gordon winkeye . and to finish at the pub opposite the burger van so people know where they are to leave and there are plenty of parking spaces [/b]

Will depend on the time of kick off of my footie team.......hopefully a morning kick off and then I can catch up with you peeps.

7th or 14th no preference for me. Happy with either.

Follow Gordon, no thanks, once he has left the Dorset area he is no Magellan.

Deal me in Rob, either for me.

Could do something on 9th Sept maybe? A few weeks before Pod then. up to the multitude, not much point in a 2-car meet...

Over to you Rob...

been faaaaaaaaaaar too long since i've made it to a E30 meet in a E30!!!

where do you meet up? can i have a postcode or something to plug into multimap? the fuel may be a killer though, i get about 160 miles to a tank 8O , maybe more on a run... :?

ooh, 80 miles. that's a £55 trip then :(
i'm unlikely to have the spare cash to be honest, lots needs spending on the car

I'm up for the 7th Oct.

Shame so many can't make it.
Gareth, totally fair comment mate, £55 is rather steep just for fuel. Maybe if E30-Steve or Jam172 are going, you could ask for a lift, they're both Eastbourne way... :P
Spook and Iain, footy over the cars? You should be ashamed of yourselves. Watching 22 blokes kicking a pigs bladder around a field, kissing and hugging each other, then jumping in a bath together... winkeye
Mark, shame you're away, but a trip to Oz does rather outweigh a car meet... 8)

Timewise, what did you have in mind for the afternoon, Rob? Knowing you and Chris it's gonna be a long cruise, so is 12 too early for anyone?

See you all there or at the Pod...
Cheers all.

(You'd better start a new post Rob, or the Mod police will arrest you... :D)

You're still in the postings for the last meet, mate...
Since the next meet is yours, you get to start a new topic.
The Mods will be happier too...

I tend to put links to the new topic in the old ones too, so that everyone who posted either going, not or otherwise for last month's meet gets to know about this one too...

Er, think you need to ignore me... :o:
You're already in a new topic.

Just when I thought I'd totally lost the plot and couldn't get any closer to the nut house, I do something stupid like this.
Admittedly I had a bad evening when everything went wrong, but no excuse for this.

Sorry Rob, you have it right already.

steve, if i follow you, i won't be able to see past your smoke screen!!!
maybe i could match it with tyre smoke for the full on BMW/Red Arrows effect! winkeye

it's the fuel costs that may knock me off the list. the ashford meet rinsed half a tankful
then again, i could do a steve style diesel conversion to save some money
