Cant remember what time it left last time, I think it was about 8:30am.

I will give it a miss this year
I will probably be down there early

Ditto, I think the mods need to be there early to help set our area up? Am I right Malc?

coming from southampton will be on my own billy no mates me boo hoo

Last year there was a a hell of a lot of us think we said leave mimms at seven to get there for nine.
Is that the same again???

Services on the Junction of M25 & A1, only a few miles out of your way, assuming you would go up M1

no going up a34 to oxford way then across so be on my own but a lovely drive in my e30

Can you confirm what time, last year it was around 07:00 if I recall ?

Christian, I am meeting a 3 other cars at the old Halfords in Ashford at 06:00 on the day if you want to roll up with us from there. As you as you are not intimidated by three 5's and a 7 !

Why don't you boys come up the A1 and join some of the e36coupe crew on the way up? We're meeting at a place called the Caxton Gibbet in Cambridgehsire to take in a wonderful fun twisty on the way over. Santa pod is almost equidistant between the A&M1 so there's no point going from S.Mimms across to Luton to get on the A1.

Dudes,

E36coupe have a 20+vehicle convoy starting at S.Mimms and heading for Caxton in Cambridgeshire for 0900 to head along a nice cross country route to the Pod. It's a wonderful road across. Perfect for BMWs!

From S.Mimms, head up the A1, turn off at Junction 9 - Baldock and follow new bypass on the A505 to Royston where you pick up the A1198 towards Huntingdon. Then it's an awesome straight fast quiet road all the way to the Caxton Gibbet which you will find about 1 mile past the Village of Caxton and is characterised by a standalone Chinese establishment called Yim-Wah house on one side and the Shell/Little Chef on the other. 15-20 mins from A1

Want to be in the line up for 9 lol... Why don't the 36 boy's get out of bed earlier...

If im not there, dont wait for me. I might go up the night before. Still undecided, depends if I can pick up a set of wheels on the Saturday.

Cos we did that last year as it was recommended we get there early to guarantee getting a space in the e36coupe section. But in reality, there was absolutely zero point in being there that early. There's so much room up there. That's why we're heading from Caxton at 9. Should still be there for about 0945 tho.

FYI. The e36 crew are meeting at 0800 at the petrol station at S.Mimms then heading up the A1 to meet others at Caxton (CB23 3PE) for 0900. We'll welcome any e30zoners to the convoy. We've got 20 some cars maybe more. See you sunday!
