Scottish meet 28th Oct -10:30 ish@The Green Wellie,Tyndrum

Thinking along the lines of the innagural meet we had at Loch Lomond last year.
Possibly meeting "slightly" further North, but not to far.
Same sort of format as last year.
Bit of a run,park up, photo's,pub for lunch,etc
As we happen to be blessed with some stunning scenery,And ,some "cracking wee roads" in our little part of the world,I thought we could take the day and enjoy them to the fullest.
Thinking possibly of the west coast,Glencoe,Perthshire
Who would be up for it?.
Had a reasonable turn out last year.
Hoping for more turning up this year.
Any route suggestions(bikers know the best ones).
Dave

I'm up for it Dave!
West coast has some cracking roads, in fact I was thinking of heading up that way soon!
Glencoe/Fort William sounds appealing?

(in fact I'm surprised he's not been on here yet!)

If you are looking for a cracking road, then try the A93 from Perth to Braemar and beyond. This road takes you through Glenshee ans is spectacular as well as challenging

agreed..alford/strathdon/braemar/glenshee/moulin moor/pitlochry/perth...would be my idea of the perfect run.. twisties, long straights, beautiful scenery, but a bit hard to syncronise with southern members as we would be going the opposite directions

Gary
I agree, The roads round that part of the country are very good.
Might just be a little too far for the southern contingent though.
Graham
Agree bout Alford,Strathdon,Lecht roads, but still reckon on it being a wee bit far for the southern guys
I was thinking more along the lines of Oban,Glencoe, poss stop at the Clachaig Inn Glencoe for lunch, then onto Dalmally,Killin,Pitlochery and then down the A9 to Perth and then everyone could head home from there.
Any other suggestions??

Damn you lo! Gary-excellent shout re the a83!
a85 is good too- or we could do a loop round from glencoe to Acharacle, via the Coran Ferry, then into FT william?
