E30 Zone

As most of you will, I'm sure, be aware, Malcolm (Monsport) sadly passed away yesterday morning after losing his battle with Cancer.

To mark the loss of a well liked and respected Zoner, we are holding a 'memorial' meet in Malc's memory on 15th July at Portsdown Hill. Meet time will be 2pm, so as not to be too early, so hopefully most people can make it.

Dave (Gaszman) will be arranging a cruise for pohtographic purposes after a few monster burgers have been consumed.

The collection is going amazingly well. £210 at the last count, with 2 cheques of unknown value on the way too...

This is awesome. The Zone is a bloody amazing place - many of the people donating never even MET Malc...

Makes me proud to be a part of it.

Malc was one of the founding members perse, deserves a bloody good send off, he was truly one of the Old Skool ...........

have just talked to english heritage and at the mo no prob with bringing the cars through the castle entrance to pay our respect to malc . drive in park up line up photos ect 2 min silence then we can go of or stay will see how much time they allow and we need a note of how many people are going to turn up hope its a lot its not far and if we get the venue boy what a meet .

Been away for the weekend and was shocked to read this to say the least
Chatted to him at one of the southern meets and seemed a genuine and nice bloke , Changed my plans and ill be there guys , As long as there are no speed humps or iffy car parks or ill have to park up the road

I'm up for that, coming from Heathfield, East Sussex in either E28 528i or if the weather is wall to wall sunshine an E3 3.0si. Unless it's E30 only convoy

I didn't know the guy, and its a bit of a trek... but I'm tempted to come to this to show some support.... seems like malcolm was a very highly regarded chap.

Plus it would be good to meet a few of you from up that way.

Munky, if you like, meet up with me around Wimborne area, and we can convoy up from there mate. Will be at least a convoy of 3, myself, Lisa and Paul, and probably 4 with E30Mark too. Maybe Ziggy, as he's around here too.
