This is one I want to go to as I've never been, but we're on hols then and my Sport definitely falls into the half-baked project category lol

How much are tickets on the day? We'll be driving back down from Scotland, so might be able to 'alter' the route home and come for a day out on the Sunday.

With all due respect to the BMWCC and my good buddy Kos, this is just the same old with no change, same cars, same venue, same museum and overpriced food. Diverse car shows with eclcetic mix is my way forward. People like diversity. My two pennyworth. Mix it up.

Unfair Hartge IMO

1) same cars ie BMW's yes but hey it's the BMW Festival
2) Same venue - please supply alternatives which offer equal or better than Gaydon in terms of facilities, hard standing, capable of the numbers, accessibility etc
3) I had not been round museum for a few years and it was certainly worth a look - did you go round the lot??
40 food is always overpriced at these venues BUT there was more choice and the quality was far better than previous years - the coffe / cake stall was very good in fact :-)

Do not have issue with negative comments if backed up with some constructive alternatives.

PS- you failed to mention it was not just dry but sunny too :-)

Ok SKH we agree to differ, no worries,

Gaydon like Santa Pod is the same old each and every year, that is only my opinion and I DO respect yours. Gaydon is in the majority, the same cars each year, the same old concours and show and shine, to ME it is boring. However, I respect others decisions to follow the same route each year but personally prefer diverse and eclectic car shows where there is diversity in brands and (to me) far more enjoyable. It's great to go to diverse car shows and see a variety. Tis only my opinion but I do respect yours. BMWCC should vary the location and perhaps would get greater attendances. All the best SKH. Iain

Went once to each of the above and I don't think I'll be back, missed the Uxbridge Car Show this year but that looks interesting.

I went to gaydon this year and enjoyed it, the show was better organized then previous years with the tannoy bloke interviewing people, an effort with the kids are was nice to see. Can't speak for the food as I always take my own anyway. I remember seeing some cars I had seen before but loads I hadn't. I got to speak to a few owners and met some nice people. I like the venue, lots of space for the cars, I don't mangle my alpina front spoiler driving over bumpy grass, but a nice grass bank to chill on and enjoy the sun.

I probably won't go again next year but will go to cranleigh or something instead just for a change. 1 year I went to too many sites and that's when it gets a bit repetitive.

I enjoyed it again

but i always enjoy it.

good mix of cars, really good mix to be honest. there were a lot of cars that ive not seen before, some of the regulars which is good to see.

food offerings are better, the real coffee is nice and much needed, good trade stands to look at, not much to buy (but eBay and on line sales killed that years ago)

the venue is evolving and changing but it still works. i for one would like to see it change, but where can we go which does not cost a fortune.

lets not forget, its put on by volunteers

My first time this year - I enjoyed it and it was a really nice day - thanks to Kos for organising.

I think that it's just unfortunate that it clashes with other shows - I've been to Cranleigh a couple of times before and that's a great show with a lot of diversity and a nice atmosphere.

It's a shame to have to choose.
