E30 Zone

It's been a few months since our last meet. I'm thinking that one of the Sundays in August for the next one.

Three weeks notice is hopefully enough so I'm proposing 12th or 19th August.

In terms of venues, we haven't been at the Falkirk Wheel for a while and it's fairly central for most.

Please indicate which date suits you best and I'm open to consider alternative venues.

I'm planning to go to Santa Pod this year, if anyone's interested. 15th and 16th September.

I'll most probably be Offshore for the meet in Falkirk, but have taken holidays to make sure I make Santa Pod

Let me be the first to promise to turn up then not bother for some reason.

Being serious, im not working and the wheel is close enough.

I can do 12th but I'm away on 19th as this is The BMWCCGB national festival in Gaydon Warwickshire

I'm a maybe for the 19th as I'm on holiday then so as long as we don't take a late deal I'm in.

12th is out as I'll be ragging the shit out of a supercar at ingliston that day

No worries, if and its a big IF the wife will entertain going with me to the wheel, then I might be able to meet up on either the way there or way back from Ingliston.

There's a car show in Ladybank on the 25th and 26th August. It's for cars <1982 but we could always have a meet in the car park or surrounding area.

Your thoughts please. We'd probably go for the Sunday as that always seems to be better.

Count me in for the 12th. Not been to a meet for a while and never yet been to see the Falkirk wheel. Two good reasons right there.

Whole of August is now scuppered for me. Between the wifes's 30th, wedding aniversary, holiday and being on call I don't have a free weekend. Next time.

North car park is millennium wheel drive of the A803 Glasgow road.

That side is free parking the other is pay n display IIRC.

Tamfourhill is the South side i think.


I dont mind which side but better to say in advance cause theres no short cut from one to the other unless your in a boat.
