Central Scotland Meet 13 May 2012 - Hamilton
Posted: Tue Apr 17, 2012 8:58 pm
by Topblag
Boyd (Cecotto479) has kindly agreed to host another meet at his unit on Sunday 13th May, start time is 1pm.
Hopefully we'll have some good weather, if not, there's plenty of room in his unit to stand about in the dry. I'm not planning to add a run into the mix as it'll be a fair run for most anyway. Last meet he hosted I managed to buy and fit a replacement windscreen so if your car has any woes, Boyd will be able to help.
Address is below.
Argyle Crescent, Hillhouse Industrial Estate, Hamilton - ML3 9BQ.
http://www.streetmap.co.uk/map.srf?x=27 ... hp=ids.srf
Please add your name to the list if you want to attend. We'll probably have another convoy from Edinburgh/Fife leaving from Hermiston Gait.
Finally, for Grant, I'll be taking the cabby

It's nice to have a choice of E30 to take, dependant on the weather

I bought the hardtop for exactly that reason and it looks like it'll be a permanent feature again this year

That's a shame Russell.
For all attendees, this location was chosen based on feedback from Russell - we are listening

For all you cabby owners with manual roofs, if you're interested, I'll be working with Boyd to fit a new roof (on a frame) to my cabby on the day. I'm also planning to raid his parts stash
I'll be bringing the hardtop also (just in case something goes wrong) so if anyone wants to try it out - which I highly recommend whilst living in a place where it rains all the time - you're more than welcome.

Nice one Peter.
Grant - very quiet. The problem is that when it's that quiet I find myself reticent to post up any new threads, as they won't attract much attention.

You'd be amazed how much 10 + E30s can tidy a place up.
Please update the list, that's why it's there.

lol, doubt it..

be good to see the ole-motor again
Paul never bought the car from me & i know when i did sell it it was in as near perfect condition as it could have been, He has just been very unfortunate but he has been doing a sterling job of making sure it's kept on the road & looking every bit as clean as i had it
all going well i should be along

Good stuff. That'll save Boyd setting up the fighting cage, I'll doubt there'll be any room with the hanging baskets and the Croquet lawn though
