Good man Matt. Still come along even if your not in your E30. Always good to get to know people a little more and put faces to the names etc. I should have a friend heading over with me in his newly aquired 323i so thats 4 of us atleast.


I'll also get some pms to some Leicester zoners to see if they are up for it and hopefully a few others from surrounding cities will come along. Its pretty simple to get to as its not that far off from junction 22 M1.

Directions for anyone interest, junction 22, head towards coalville, at the first round about take the 3rd exit... Follow that for a short while until you come to some lights, then take the left (main road one) then follow that until you reach the Forest Rock!

Think it's a bit early in the year to get many folk wanting to travel very far for a meet Jim, think most will wait and see what the weather is like on the day.

I did think that actually. Hopefully its a nice clear day. If not, atleast I can meet a few other local zoners.

My friend has just bought that 323i chromie that my other mate had so hopefully it will be on the road and ready to come along. We are gonna be working on it over the next few weekends, getting an exhaust from Sweep for it and think it may need a few other bits for the mot.

I was gonna have it but let my other mate have it instead... For the sum of £150... Bargain and now I am gutted I didn't have it.

Anything else you need Jim? Going to start breaking the touring pretty soon.

Oooo. Whats the interior in that? Why you breaking it? I bet you I could make a very long list so let me think about it. Mainly just optional extras I would be after so if you got anything nice about. I can pop over later this month when I get some more cash spare as I already got a few things I need to pay for like springs exhaust and tech 2 side pods from other zoners.

I'm toying with the idea of doing a 2.5 conversion on my 316 touring, could be interested in some of your stuff to do it. Can you keep me posted mate?

Yea course Jon, mine was a 318i Auto once upon a time. Car is still on the road for the next few weeks so you can come try out the engine, just got to change the thermostat.

As well as the tech 2 kit, but I already got it all sorted so just curious as to how much you want for that bit.

Ha, it's not great on fuel, figured i might as well get some power for my money that's going up in smoke!
I don't want to sell the car, there's something that i really like about it, gonna get the front suspension sorted soon, got some barely used wishbones/bushes, the lot. Been useless in the snow though! Couldn't move it!
