Depends where everyone is from, but there are some good pubs to meet at - The Spring Inn on the a4 for example?

most evenings are good, busy for the next two weekends though i'm in thatcham so location not really a worry..

well i was thinking meeting at the cunning man in burghfield one evening maybe or weekend not fussed huge car park rite by the river and most importantly CHEAP BEER

tbh i'll let someone else call it, i've not been in the area long enough to find a really decent pub, it's not like i haven't tried though ..

just need a postcode for the satnav...

Well, i couldnt have got that more wrong.
Turned up to both but you must have gone by the time i just got there.
Got the order mixed up so turned up to the Southcote for 1930, then getting home - realising my mistake - then just popped out to the Cunning Man, only to find nothing but a few new beemers.

Sorry.

I'll still be at The Southcote as originally arranged thursday 2nd 1930 onwards if anyone is still up for it.

Such are birthing pains of a small gathering that could become a thing.

Probably almost certainly my fault, given my inexperience at announcing/arranging meetings.

We were at The Southcote on Bath Road from 7.30pm til late, Andy-M, dowot, and 333i.

Sorry you missed out, and i do feel responsible for wasting your time tonight, but everyone's up for meeting again so we will, and then it'll be better advertised and arranged. I wasted my own time last night after getting confused, i sat at The Southcote for an hour, then went over to the cunning man in case i'd got mixed up, got home and realised the day was all wrong. Dork.

So please forgive me and look out for the next meeting announcement!

Hi all, can't do a meet this week - off to see a man about a horse.

If we make it a monthly do that'd be easier to get into peoples diaries. Weekly is too unpredictable for me but, say, second Thursday of the month is easier to reserve for sure.

The man is actually a Zoner called Gordon, and he's deputised his son to buy my horse (bottle top alloys). So there's a Zoney/E30 link in there at least. If you do meet then I might pop in if I get back early enough.

Lemme know what you all think about the timing above.

Well - I am signed up to the Pistonheads Sunday Service at Porsche Silverstone on 17th October. This thing starts at 8am and goes on til 1300hrs.

I'm goin with my bro who's here for the weekend, and maybe my neighbour who has a sweet E21, and I'd understand if no-one's up for it, but im keen on a little convoy of quality cars.

Other than that next thursday night 14/10/10 at the Southcote from 1930 onwards is fine by me again! And maybe i can gauge reaction to the Silverstone idea there...

Anyone wanna confirm either or of these dates on here? I might set up another new thread? Just say which you'd prefer.

The Silverstone meet bookings list has overbooked and they're now putting on a reserve list. My bro and i are in, but it's luck on the day really whether you get in or not if you sign up now. So it's up to you if you wanna take the chance!

Otherwise next thurs 14/10/0 from 1930 onwards is still on.
