Hi,

As per the E30owners.com meet we organised in Ireland here, this it the result below. Can't say enough how nice it was to have so many E30's in spot. Big thanks to everyone that helped out and to those that arrived on the day.

That would have been a great meet to attend.
So many e30's yet all slightly different in appearance.
The red M3 has to be my fav.

It was a brilliant day, the cars were amazing, great people, great weather we couldn't have asked for more. We had 72 cars on the list as attending, few drop outs in the days leading up to it and a good few non-site members turn up that had heard about it.

We'll have to get a few of you from accross the pond over for this next year :thumb:

Here's the few pics I managed to take:

A Big thanks To Jozi and Baz (All Mods and Admin on e30owners including myself) above without their hard work this event would not have been possible Were already planning next years event and it would be great to get a Crew over from the Zone to make it possibly the largest e30 meet in europe

Ive yet to upload my photos but the weather was fantastic, esp for Ireland, and the atmosphere and the banter was brilliant, everybody seemed happy, and for our 1st major meet like this we were blown away with the responce, we made an nice few quid for charity in the process too,

Roll on Next year and hope to see some of out UK neigbours there too
Brian

jay1980: I think they are XXR 002's, definatly XXR.

The Alpina touring is just class! He's had a problem with the turet welds going but she's been all fixed and received a load of other nice new goodies (BTB3? Maniflod to name one) Easily the best touring there, of the 3 and after mine :p

wow, I think we know where all the tech2 kits have gone!! :)
Tourings not so popular over there then? :(

That looked like a really fun time, perhaps we should have a joint meet somewhere and go for a record!

Your not the 1st comment on the tec2 kit thing.

I was surprised as well at only 4 tourings! Alpina touring makes up a little for the lack of tourings. I might have a tec2 kit on my touring next year to join the tec2 club :p

JBH: This was the 1st one but there's already talk about making it an annual event to kick of the summer.

Just bumping this as we're currently in the final stages of planning for the next one. Its looking like it will be in Athlone, Ireland. Definately the 18th / 19th of June. It is going to be a 2 day event.

Just giving a heads up if anyone happens to be holidaying in Ireland around then or wants to arrange 'family' holidays around then. All welcome.

Will keep you posted.

Guys, why don't you make an new thread with a little background about the meet, add your details and any other relevant information you think needs mentioning and I'll sticky it for you. That way, you can have a dedicated thread for the upcoming meet that all interested parties can use to contact you and everyone can nut out the details, logistics, etc. as they arise. If you're game, I'm more than happy to do it.

Feens started a thread here: http://www.e30zone.net/modules.php?name ... c&t=191016

I think he covered most of the details, we're still making up a poster for the meet which will be added once done.
