I'll hopefully have a run out, as long as the weather holds out the 696 is a canny road!

Mick, you guys might need an early start if you're planning to meet the Zone Roam. We're planning to head North from Jedburgh to visit the Central Scotland Meet at The Falkirk Wheel on the Sunday.
Hope that doesn't put you off......

Jedburgh is only an hour from Newcastle, Grant. Any idea what time you guys will be leaving on the Sunday morning?

Planning to meet the guys at the wheel around mid-day, so I reckon we'd leave Jedburgh around 10 - 10:30am. (Neil is master of travel/road plans, so we'll see what he says first)

Got some nice single track just North of Falkirk/Stirling Neil.
I believe both Grant and yourself have been across the road I'll suggest.
Cooked Jag brakes should serve as a clue

Yes Dave, I remember a big red Jag looming in my rear view mirror, with the brakes smoking
Awesome road tho - will fit my windscreen cam for some of that action

The meeting point for the cars from the NE will be the first layby on the A696 after turning off the A1 at Kenton - Jedburgh is signed.
Looking at meeting at 0815 to leave at 0830. Should take just under an hour and we'll meet the main group in the woolen mill car park, just past the Shell garage at Jedburgh, for the run through to Falkirk.
