Dont think any of the sussex lot are going due to valentines and lack of numbers attending the diner recently and i see there point
Ill leave it up but if numbers dont increase by thursday the meet will be cancelled guys
Also the march/april meets ill be seeing how they go and if i cant get anyone else involved then the meet may be dropped altogether , I dont wanna see it go as i drive 60 miles there and numbers have been poor and seems like im flogging a dead horse
Am i missing something or can anything be done to save this meet ?
I dont want people to attend next month to get numbers up then not come again as ill give this night up to another car club , There is just not much south of the dartford crossing thats all and its a fair trek for most of us on the coast anyway .
Considering there is ..
Me e/bourne
Terry hailsham
Lawrence hailsham
Paul bexhill
Dan e/bourne
Alan e/bourne
Jim bexhill
Gareth hastings
And usually 3 or 4 other cars , All drive there to see each other so no point going as were within 15 miles of each other
Down to you guys now as we have been here before

That would be a shame, but you do make a good point Steve, it's easier for me being only 20 or so miles away.
Do you know if the Diner will still be open for business if there isn't a car meet?
Naomi and I would probably still go anyway!

Still open mate , I would still turn up on a odd saturday night and view the other car clubs cars so could meet up one saturday
Its open to all but the car clubs get preference to park in front of the diner and if your not part of it park out the way a bit
I turned up on a yank night and parked up the hill towards the pallets , Was a good evening
Shame really as keep ringing and running round then nobody shows hence why i asked if i can do anything else
This should have been a excellent meet due to venue and food and is central to most but doesnt really seem to have picked up fully

That's cool (the first part anyway).
Maybe the last few months of crappy, freezing / snowy weather hasn't helped..?

Aah feck!
I was going to show off my new toy, acquired just this evening (friday 12th Feb)!
Well the missus and I are still going, we're not missing out on our monthly burger!
Plus, we've got a big posh room booked at the Ashford International Hotel just around the corner, for Valentine's night!

Martin, no one wants to see you in a gimp outfit!
But really, what is the new toy, not that I have forgiven you for breaking your old one?
