Scottish Monthly Meet - Central Scotland - interested ?

I'm looking for interest in a monthly meet at the Falkirk Wheel, the first weekend in each month for the next three months to get us started.

It all came about because I think there are a few of us who can't make Knockhill this weekend and I thought why don't we do the same as our Northern counterparts and see if it works.

I'm a newbie on the site but don't think there's much to arrange, just a time and date and keep your fingers crossed for the weather !

Please add your name to the list below.

1) Topblag (325i Cab & 325i Sport)

I've got two E30s and can't drive them both at the same time.....yet. There's no point them both sitting in the car park if there's a meet on. Don't be shy.

I'm sure we can come to an arrangement..... one thing though - they're both autos. I don't do gear changes since I moved to the city.

You're sorted.

You'd be driving the 325i sport I got at the weekend. Needs some TLC and some welding but there's much worse ways to travel.

It got me home from Belfast without missing a beat and it was carrying me, 3 spare wheels and a spare interior, a roll of gaffer tape and a Ginster Cornish Pasty (for emergencies).

It'll probably be the first week in each month, possibly a Sunday afternoon. I'll put a wee poll together when the list stops increasing.

BTW - as discussed, I'll now be taking a transit van down south, probably 6th and 7th June on a parts mission. Stops include BBB in Essex. Let me know if you want anything picked up, courier charges very reasonable !

Thanks everyone - suggest that we meet on Sunday 14th June at 2pm at the Falkirk Wheel. Other suggestions welcomed - if no more I'll confirm that date and time in a couple of days.

Numbers are lower than I anticpated but the range of E30s is good.

14th is now in the diary - hopefully I'll be able to avoid and mother in law visits this time.

BTW - off topic there is a BMW Owners Club stand at the classic car show at Thirlistane Castle on the 7th of June. I'm going to head down. If you find the thread and put your name down entry is free! I'm currently going down on my own - so if anyone wants a lift down (from Edinburgh) - let me know!

There's another post which confirms that it is indeed the one in question.

Very nice motor from what I saw at Knockhill.
