Next Midlands Meet

The first one was a cracker, real good turnout of E30's
Time to plan on with the next one now. Week-nights instead of a weekend day have been discussed, Tuesday night IIRC?
I was also discussing about alternating the meet between East and West, how does this sound, or is it best to stick with the Toby Carvery?
All opinions welcome, need to sort out a date as well

Yep they do have plenty of parking and only a few minutes drive from me
East midlands sounds good.

If it's a week night I reckon it needs to be in a pub.
The Moat House in Tamworth is ideal.
There is a big carpark right next to the Pub Back Garden.
Building is rather Grand too, good backdrop for some photos.
Tamworth is pretty central for all Midlanders,Only 25-30mins from Brum,Notts,Cov,Derby,Cannock. 30-35 from Leicester.
In fact is pretty much centre of the Universe

Might be an idea to keep it at the same place as most people know where it is now. Probably need to confirm with the manager(s) of a date and time though

thought we were going to alternate west/east mids?????

Yep all those doors, does take a little longer to polish......
We need to sort out another date and time plus east or west midlands for the venue.
The Toby has no problem with a regular meet as discussed, we just need to decide if a weekend or weeknight.
Need ideas on a suitable venue for the east mids, any ideas?

Guys , Nottingham is starting to get too far for me , It's a 140 mile round trip for me where we meet which i don't mind but hitting the M1 starts putting it too far east for me and I would get chuaght in rush hour traffic.
Best bit about Conventry is it's bang in the middle of things for most of us. Admitdly I think another location might be more pleasant but defo keep it at a boozer as we can all get some scoff down our ncks if the desire takes us

For east mids there are a couple of pubs near J28 of M1, which is on the A38 also so could be ideal?

Tamworth seems to be bang in the middle and easy for everyone to get to. Not far for either east and west. What do ya think?

It's the logical solution.

It is indeed,, lots of outdoor seating at the rear of the pub next to the car park as well.
