THE 35TH SCOTTISH TRANSPORT EXTRAVAGANZA GLAMIS CASTLE
Right guys have got the entry form for this year..so..
The spectacular landscaped grounds of Glamis Castle are host to the annual Strathmore Vintage Vehicle Society's Scottish Transport Extravaganza.
1000 vintage cars and other vehicles are on display. This is an event not to be missed by motor enthusiasts. However, with many more attractions, numerous stalls, a craft tent, marching pipe bands and a children's area, this is an all-round family weekend.
there is a local pub/beer garden 5 minutes walk from the campsite
and an on site shop for papers, rolls, ciggies, etc and of course the ubiquitous beer tent/caterers are on-site
the scouts also provide a large catering tent serving probably the best breakfast in the world (if a bit expensive) lol and there is a dance on the saturday night.
last year there were 18'000 visitors to the site over the two days
closing date for entries will be 20th march
price is £3 per car for the weekend (includes passes for show and campsite for 2 people)
I have got space for 10 cars but if there is more interest we can probably get more space..
so those wanting to go just add your name to the list and i,ll see you there

Go for it Nick.
Even if the cars not running during April, there's still another 6 weeks to get ity done.
Failing that
I'm sure Gray will find somewhere to abandon/hide the Mazda if necessary.

Sorry Peter. I don't have any.
I've just got some mugs "in stock".
You'll need to contact the other Dave(D6DPH) if you require stickers.

From what I saw of the 'campsite' area people will be nursing some hangovers.
I was there all Sunday and saw Grant for about 10seconds and only saw Dave drive of the site.
