E30 Zone

Hi guys,the next Brighton meet will take place on-

THURSDAY 25TH SEPTEMBER 2008 @ 7.30pm

We'll meet up down the far end of Madeira drive(the end closest to the marina)in the little carpark and maybe go for a drive down the marina if you fancy it a bit later on!

I'll post the details on the usual sites so turnout will hopefully be as good as usual,hope to see you there.

no probs mate, might be worth a PM nearer the time, the memory is not what it used to be

I may be able to make it but would have to bring my little one with me if that's ok with everyone else? I wouldn't be able to stay too long either obviously.

Doh! It seem Fat Bot Slim is having a bloody concert in Brighton this weekend and they have seen fit to close Madeira drive!!!!Im not sure if they have closed the whole road,sometimes if the entrance at the Pier is shut,the Dukes mound one is still open to traffic using the Blackrock carpark but when you get there,if the road is shut we'll meet in Asda carpark like normal,over the far side near the back wall!

Madeira Drive itself is closed to through-traffic from 7pm on Thursday 25 September while the stage is built near the Concorde 2 venue. However, the road will be accessible from each end until it closes completely at 6am on the day of the show until around noon on Sunday. The de-rig should be complete and the road full open by noon on Monday

so to me it seems its open at both ends you just cant go straight through
