E30 Zone

Dissapointed to say the least, got there at 10.30 and walked round the place for 2 hours and saw only on zone car.Where was the rest?

past experiences of car club meets has taught me that out of the dozens that put their names down on the list ,if 25% of them turn up its a good result but there was surely much more than that one in attendence?

I guess most of the zoner's cars where in the car park, theoretically only BMW Car Club members park down on the main arena... You'll find a lot of the visitors don't drag there butts in until lunch time, they were probably arriving as you were leaving.

Well i was there with Col (oze30) in the satin black V8 touring.
There were plenty of other Zoners there but unless they walk around with badges on saying who they are off of here are you wern't to know.

Also there wasn't that many with their names down...was there?

I was there, when on the test track for a laugh and enjoyed it, got the car twitching on the long righthander.

Picked up 4 15inch bbs caps for £15.

Nice to see a few E30 M3 Evo sports

I think for next time there should be an issue of T-shirts so we can recognise whose of the Zone, but mainly get more advertisment for the zone for other E30 drivers.
But bought some goodies, came home and went to work on the car.Will post pics later.

i hit it up.saw some nice tourings.the hartge stand was abit of a let down
parking on the wet grass was fun.we should of met up before maybe.that way we might of all got to park together.

H27 touring, what part of Cov you from?? I know most of cov well as I'm normally hanging around there on the weekends.
Sometimes on the Hollyhead road in the pub

Used them once, years ago, one guy from my college used to work there on parts, can't remember his name, about 93/94.I'm normally in Radford, round by jubliee crescent, round the corner from coundon

E30 Cab waiting for an M30 3.5 conversion, hopefully within the next 2 weeks, just waiting on some engine mounts, have'nt posted any pic yet, but will do soon.

i was parked up on the grass over the hill from the pond.near some multi coloured Z3.
im guessing that was it infront of the museum.red e30 m3,1 series and that e36.bit of a poor show on the hartge side from what i saw

there were LOADS of us there! loads on display and in the car park

alot of people i know are usually gaydon regulars said the weather looked abit iffy and felt it may not be good this year - i didnt go as i had a wedding to go to and my E30 is off the road at present -

I suppose we can all try again with Zone nametags/t shirts for the ultimate BMW show at Santa Pod in September.

Hartge was a real let down!

Was expecting to see others cars there not from the zone etc etc!

I totally agree as we all tend to know each other on the zone so why not at the shows a well.

looks like ill be down the pod in sept then if all goes well.Unless everyones meeting up before.

As si says there was loads of us there but as before, this was a club event not a zoners meet.

Was a great day. I had a blast.

Who was the guy in the motorsport cab leaving about 4:30pm with the rear end COMPLETELY stoved in???!. What happened there?. PacerPete was in front of me in his UTE and we has to overtake the poor guy.

I was there with my 325i Sport in the E30 25th aniversary section, it had 15" BBS on it instead of the 16" Alpina's on it in the sig pic.

So was I, though I was parked in the car park. rav320uk, I think you came up to me and asked where all the zoners were just as I pulled up.

Yea your the one i put down as the only one i met, didn't see or meet any other zoners though, but saw 2 cars with zone stickers, by the way everyone was going on, i thought it would be a large group with flying colours.

Unless you come and introduce yourself we are none the wiser. it was common knowledge on the other thread that zoners were in the main e30 line up. if you came over and said hello it would have helped us identify you. There were 4 zoners cars parked together for one. Mine, The diddlers, Barrys and Si's C2.7 touring. You couldn't miss us. I had a zone sticker in. There was never going to be a Zone stand fying the colours. That was never going to happen.
