New member from the South of France 1992 318i Touring Lagunengrün

Hi, Though this is my new member introduction I have been lurking on the site for quite while, taking advantage of lots of very useful information. Mine is an E30 Touring, a LHD German/Austrian market vehicle purchased in Scotland, just prior to moving to France 18 years ago and is my 'daily' drive. I recently completed a light refreshment' rather than a full on rebuild, I have seen the kind of restoration job that members on this site have accomplished and they are way beyond anything I have done. As it has been in regular use it has been serviced and repaired as needed, that is until the man at the 'controle technique' (our MOT) told me that I really need to attend to the rust and holes in the bodywork before the next test as new regulations have ruled out all rust and any holes!, so it came off the road for a while to be dealt with, as you may see when I post up some photos and details in the 'restoration' section, its a bit 'back to front' as I have posted a finished photo. Anyway many thanks to those of you who have contributed valuable information and restoration anecdotes, they are much appreciated and very impressive.
