E30 Zone

Hi All,

E30zone is completely new to me and this is my first post !

A bit of background, I have a 1992 320 Convertible, which I’ve owned around 5 years and have been slowly working through it to get it back to close as OEM possible, prior to my ownership it had been stored for 10 years +/-.

This brings me onto a question I have, I’m looking to replace the hood and have some repairs carried out to the frame/frame mechanism (it’s electric operation) can anybody recommend a company to carry out this works in the Bristol area or near by..?

Any recommendations would be welcome

Welcome to the zone, where have you been,the good news your in the right place for everything E30,there is a wealth of knowledge and help here anyway your hood,I used the carhood warehouse in Chessington Surrey,I could not fault them in a shape or form but I hat done 5/6 years ago.The fitter was a guy I think called Torone,I know it’s not really in your area but we’ll worth the trip, good luck.
