Hi from Thailand

Hi Guys,
pleased to meet you all.
I am an old retired fogey, originally from Australia but now retired to Thailand. I got my first E30 many years ago whilst living in Hong Kong and have been in love with them ever since. Back then I had a 325i 4 door and a 325i Hartge convertible which I ended up selling for a song and shipping to a guy in Melbourne - if only I had known.
I have owned numerous BMWs over the years since but nothing for quite a while. I only recently discovered how 'reasonably' priced old BMWs are here so, after a 6 month search, I bought one - its a 1989 (I think - having trouble finding out cos Thai Beemers of that vintage don't have normal VINs) 4-door with nasty 9"JDM rims. It is in pretty good shape but needs a few things fixing up so should keep me busy for a while.

I have an Aussie mate in Bangkok who has been there 15 years or more and drives a black E32 730iL.

I saw a couple of nice E30's in Phuket when catching a boat to Koh Lipe a few years ago.

Welcome - and what an interesting intro!
Assume the last picture is your current one?

Nothing wrong with keeping busy in our years!
