Back in an e30

Hello all,

I owned a couple e30s in the past(12-15 years ago). I missed my old 325is so I bought another e30 to get back in the game. I picked up a 1991 325i sedan that was originally an automatic transmission based out of California. Couple of records indicates that it moved to Florida at some point and received a manual swap from a private BMW/Euro performance shop. It was shipped to Hawaii in 2019 and was acquired by myself earlier this year. Have many MILD plans to make this a clean and fun daily driver with most of the stock stuff as functional as possible. Also tons of maintenance to catch up on and a few things to repair because just driving it wouldn't be fun. More pictures to come if there is interest.

Sorry about the poor photo (out of focus etc) I am learning how to take photographs from my spouse.

Surprisingly there is TONS of e30s and other classic cars out here. I have seen dozens without even going to a meet yet and they have a e30 facebook group for Hawaii. It had a few small issues when I bought it(still does) but just been trying to do one or two things a week. So far I have done the following since buying February this year.

Completed

- Replaced the antenna grommet and windshield wipers
- DND performance shift knob adapter (added my old weighted STi knob)
- Replaced the ODO gears with Garagistic replacements (that was a fun and worth the time job)
- Replaced the fog light bulbs
- Modded the hood to come off in 2 minutes instead of 10 and tons of time realigning to get back on
- Found an "i" front lip and reinstalled over the missing one

SOON TO COME

- Timing belt kit and BMW M20B25 tune up kit w/ oil change from FCP Euro
- Valve adjusment while going through the timing belt and tune up kit
- Yellow tint for the high beams and fogs (French Euro style)
- ????
- ????
- ???? What do you guys think should be done ????
