Newbie in Australia

Hi everyone,
I am in Australia and have recently purchased my first BMW.
It is a 1988 320i convertible, a beautiful car but with (many) little faults that haven't stopped me enjoying this little gem.
So far I have fixed most of them myself, but there are a couple of harder ones still to be addressed (more on that later).
Hopefully I can glean some info and knowledge from you while passing on some of my experiences here.
Cheers,
Professor Grey.

Welcome!

As a fellow Aussie - we need to see pics.
We love pics (especially Mart)

And tell us a bit more about your car.

Hi All,
As I advised earlier, I have only recently purchased my E30.
Actually it's the wife's car, but because I sourced it, and I'm in charge of maintenance and repairs I think I'm entitled to some leeway, eh?
It's a 1988 (built Dec 1987) 320i automatic convertible (not Baur).
Colour 139 Bronzit Beige
Upholstery 0307 Natural
Completely unmolested apart from a new Blaupunkt stereo I installed because the old one was cactus.
We have full paperwork since new, including continuous service history.
At this time I'm in deep, replacing the aircon TX valve.
I know... I know... but it's bloody hot here in Oz at the present, and my poor old body is feeling it.
Anyhow, I'll keep you in the loop.
