Seems your sliding technique rubbed off on him!
He made it back though! Cheers for the run in your IS that supercharger makes it the perfect package, bloody fast too. I was well impressed with the engine bay.
As for the CSL.... that car is something else!

Had an excellent day one of the best track days I have done in a long while, I think the lower number of cars and good track etiquette just made the day.
Got the old girl home which is amazing really,, dam these E30s are tough.
Your 318is is a credit to you appletree,, superb build quality and quick to.
Thanks for blagging me a ride in the CSL schuey that's an amazing piece of kit,, and Simon does not hold back at all on track which with a CSL on a wet cadwell was pretty impressive.

I was there last week. Amazing track. Does anyone have any video or lap times? Would be interesting to see in comparison to my E36 328 (part stripped and prepped)

That's good video and good driving. A second or two quicker than I managed in the 328. Of course, I can see the V6 is having to hold back too.

I think he was trying to keep the nissan (???) in the shot. Could have gone a lot faster i reckon if he went for a proper flying lap. Awsome sound though!!

bit of footage following my mates mega quick clio mk1 hybrid,, bit slow because the track was lethal, soaking wet and with a good coating of oil or petrol from an E36 M3.

Looking good. Sounds good too. Is your camera suckered to the windscreen or exterior mounted?

its a bullet cam and i made the mistake of sticking it to the exterior which is why the vid is such poor quality,, just far to much spray.
