E30 Zone

buildin my 1985 e30 for open track and drift events... im still new to the bmw scene. (my old car was a honda) Upgrading to 410 lsd diff...jus thought i would throw this out there

anyone else on here go out to drift events??? just outa curiousity

Me im building mine up as a drift car

I would like to learn some sideways skills. What the best thing to do? sign up for one of thoose Brands Hatch Drift school days??

my e30 is definitely getting a extreme diff and a hydro ebrake for sure! the torque makes it ideal but current lsd is shockingly crap

come to santa pod on wednesday 12th of march £60 drift all day
3 x beginer tracks
2 x intermediate
1 x big fast 3rd gear track

Dont matter if you cant drift or you are shit hot skidders of evey leval go

Might even let you loose in mine so you can see if you like it

Does the job very very well ive got a mig spec

i dont want a welder i prefer 2 ways, as it will mainly be a road car and it has enough understeer at the moment with the s38 up front

iver driven s14s with welded diffs and mine has a nismo 2way and its soooo much better

kaaz and cusco do one for the e30 but it will basicaly cost a grand which is a lot, so welder is the way forwards for e30 drift diffs i reckon

may just get my e30 one plated up

My mate shimed? his on his s13 so if u have a slipper in your e30 cant you look into doing that?

Cant see me ever spending a grand on a 2way diff

Yeah man as said get to santa pod. Probably the best place left to learn to drift in the uk legaly. Lots of run of space and friendly people to help you out. If you like it and can hold a drift pretty well i'd then suggest getting to teeside. Well worth the trek and probably one of the best places to drift in the uk.

think i might come up to watch, until i fit my lsd diff no real point trying yet
