can you not just get a normall/lsd rebuilt to say a 40% lock this imo would be ideal

Hi
yeah you can get them rebuilt with two plates in them instead of one, a mate of mine can do the full rebuild which includes machining to take the second plate and putting it back yogether for around £200/£300.
he builds e30/e36 m3 race cars for a living and used to work for bmw.
if any1 wants any more info i can speak to him for ya.

so is the standard sport lsd. 1.5way or 2 way? cause the kaaz lsd is looking good for me buts its a 1.5 way. but if the standard sport dif is 2 way then id like to stick with a 2 way because i like how the rear wheels lock.

have alook at the website below.
http://www.kaazuk.com/faq.php#whatway
it explains the differences between 1/1.5 and 2 way lsd. standard lsd's are just 1way as they lock on acceleration only.

there's a thread somewhere on modifying the ramp angles on the pressure rings to increase the lock-up. needs to be done by a specialised machine shop as they're hard material.

im pretty sure it isnt only one way cause mine locks up like a bitch, especially in the wet nearly binned it so many times because of it. still have bad habbits from driving FWD wrongness for a year and half before i got my sport.
